Above is a picture of the region of the Apostle Islands where Devil's Island is located. Not only is it the northernmost of all the islands, it is the northernmost point in all of Wisconsin! The northern tip of Devil's Island has a lighthouse that can be seen for fifteen miles in clear weather, warning ships and other vessels away from the dangerous rocks of the island. Devil's Island is one of the main settings in the books Survival Instinct and Troubled Waters.
